SUBJECT
Music Women* Germany aims to specifically promote, network and make visible women*, female-identifying and non-binary individuals in the music industry.
Consequently, we offer and demand presence, qualification, networking, jobs, role models and empowerment for music women* throughout Germany. Our work is intersectional, which we understand as an appreciative approach to diversity. Because it is only through the representation of as many different perspectives as possible that the music culture and economy becomes diverse and strong.
Music Women* Germany want to strengthen a society that enables equality, diversity and participation for everyone. In our work as a network, we therefore naturally also stand in solidarity with other groups in the music industry that are marginalised and clearly underrepresented, especially BIWoC* (Black, Indigenous, People of Color, in this case Women* of Color).
