SUBJECT
As part of Stuttgart’s ABOUT POP Conference: A diverse music, night and city culture can only be created by committed collectives and initiatives that actively participate in shaping it. Cities need newcomers*, bookers*, organisers* or activists* in the music scene to build it up in the long term. In order to be able to actively participate, they need access to spaces and infrastructure, as well as the support of various stakeholders. What are the starting conditions for emerging initiatives in Stuttgart? What conditions should young people find in order to be motivated for the future? What can city administration, politics and funding institutions contribute? And how diverse are these structures anyway?
