This Mondayscafé evening is dedicated to the topic of (Afro)-German perspectives in the Dresdner music scene? Bringing together BIPOC creators of the music community – like DJs, artists and organizers – the audience had the chance to listen to their stories and experiences and how it is to be part of a predominantly white music community in Dresden.
The Montagscafé is a transcultural meeting place for all people from Dresden and surroundings. Here, they do not only deal with migration and culture theoretically, but rather live it: pop culture, subculture, food culture, film culture and dance, theatre, comic, textile, print or word art – everybody is welcome.
